Update on server problems

MJ just gave me an update on the server problems that have shut down our access to public printing, ILLiad, e-reserves, LibWire, etc. Systems staff spent last night rebuilding the two servers but will not bring them back up until necessary firewalls and other protections have been added. In the best case scenario, they may be back up around 11am today, but will intermittently be brought down every couple of hours for re-booting until a more permanent fix is in place. This most likely will take another day of work. In any case, expect intermittent outages today and perhaps tomorrow. MJ will let us know how the work is progressing by email. (BL, Wednesday am)
