Be sure to check the electrical connection at the Ref Desk - PJ 9/26

Be sure to check that the electrical cord from the power strip at the Ref Desk is plugged in at the wall outlet.  I couldn't figure out why the laptop had power but the large monitor did not.  I checked all the connections, and finally saw that the cord to the wall socket was unplugged.  The laptop had been running on the battery.  Pam

Music Ref. books for Mu600 class

Prof. Emiliano Riccardi has my permission to borrow Music Ref. books in support of his Mu600 Music Bibliography class.  He is aware of the procedure to fetch the books from the 6th floor, check them out using paper slips at the Ref Desk, and of the limited circulation period.   Pam

Book Move from 23rd Floor (temporary)

Books with the following call numbers have been moved temporarily to the Circulation/Reserves area.  They can be asked for at the Circulation/Reserves desk.

The move is being done to accommodate the electrical upgrade project.  We expect to replace the books in three weeks.
